Dr. Sandy Haas

Wellness Director

Dr. Sandra Valdes Haas, has a BA in Psychology from the prestigious Rollins College in Central Florida. She was President of the CBP® Club and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Summa Cum Lauda from Life University in 2002. She has over 20 years experience in healthcare and fitness training as well as over 9 years experience in the practice.

Dr. Sandy was awarded Chiropractor of the Year for 2005 and is an Advanced Certified Distinguished Fellow of CBP®, a fellowship of the best chiropractic physicians in the country. Dr. Sandy has a passion for fitness and nutrition.

Dr. Sandy is an instructor for Chiropractic BioPhysics / CBP®, board member for CBP Non-Profit and also develops software. She is an exceptional leader in her field and has tremendous respect amongst her colleagues.

Dr. Sandy has two beautiful children.  She enjoys running outdoors and is an exceptional athlete. She loves spending time with her family and has fallen in love with Colorado’s weather.


Dr. Jason Haas

Clinical Director

Dr. Jason Haas, a Greeley, Colorado native has 15 years experience in the research and treatment of spinal disorders. He is a graduate with a doctorate of chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West.

In addition to their extensive undergraduate and doctoral education, Dr. Jason teaches and trains with Chiropractic BioPhysics in a series of post-graduate seminars.

Dr. Jason also possesses extensive weight loss experience and teaches on the topic weekly. Dr. Jason is a CBP® Non-Profit clinical researcher and, spinal research institute Board Member.

He was awarded CBP® Chiropractor and Chiropractic Researcher of the Year. He has co-authored three textbooks publications on spinal rehabilitation and spinal biomechanics (CBP Structural Rehabilitation of the Cervical Spine, Spinal Biomechanics for Children, Vol. 1, and CBP Structural Rehabilitation of the Lumbar Spine. ), and has had 16 index-medicus articles published in prestigious journals such as Spine™ the Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development, the European Spine Journal, the Journal of manipulative and physiological therapeutics and others.

Dr. Jason enjoys time with his two children, Dylan and Sierra and goes fishing when he gets the chance. He is a life long musician and loves Colorado.


Alison Baron

Director of Physical Therapy

Alison is a Colorado native from Colorado Springs. She graduated from CSU with a bachelors in Health and Exercise Science in 2007, and then a doctorate from CU Denver for PT in 2010. Alison enjoys working hands on with her patients and doing a lot of manual work to get the most improvements in patients outcomes.

In her free time, Alison has a beautiful son and loving husband. They spend a lot of time outside hiking, camping, gardening, and just having fun.


Mary Bedosky

Nurse Practitioner (PA)

Mary was born and raised in Minnesota. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She later attended A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona earning a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She has several years prior work experience in cardiology and internal medicine.

In the past few years, she has developed a passion for Functional Medicine, a field of medicine which seeks to address the underlying causes of illness and chronic disease.

She has taken the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice course through the Institute for Functional Medicine and plans to continue on to become fully certified in Functional Medicine. Mary utilizes an individualized, integrative approach with each of her patients.  

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking and traveling. Mary has been with Benchmark Medical Group since April, 2015.


Carla Akers

Certified Massage Therapist

Carla specializes in therapeutic and deep tissue massage. Carla has been practicing Massage Therapy and Wellness Since 2002. Each treatment is tailored to the individual because no two bodies are alike or respond to treatment the same way. The focus is on the areas that need work so you get the most benefit from your session.

Your treatment may consist of several different modalities depending on the issues you are having and the purpose of your visit.

She specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Aroma Therapy Massage, Pre-Natal Massage, and Heated Hot Stone Therapy, and M’lis Detoxifying/Inch-loss Body Contouring wraps.
